While the morale of the host club has been broken due to Tamaki's announcement, everyone continues working as normal. In the salon, Kyoya serves Eclair and she asks how much debt Haruhi has. This prompts Kyoya to invite Haruhi over to her since she requests her. Haruhi is obviously upset and she asks her if she's jealous about her being so close to Tamaki, to which she replies that she has commanded Tamaki to not see the host club anymore which leaves her feeling broken. After Elcair leaves, Kyoya presents Haruhi with a shocker: her debt has been paid and she's free to stop being a host. She's stunned for a minute until Kyoya's father comes in again criticising him for fooling around. However, Haruhi's quick to stand up for him saying that he's working hard making happiness for others and also that he thinks that he's a great person. Her words have no effect on him visually, but then he thinks about who she is.

For once, Nana is trying to get everything about Yano behind her. She packs up all of his memorbilia into a bag and plays it cool at school even though rumors are floating around. Yano too tries to play it cool, but he's just overwhelmed when he gets the bag Nana left for him and the request from her to act as if they were strangers. Even though Nana's trying to play cool, Takeuchi decides to do the friend thing and invites her over to see some abandoned puppies he's decided to keep. When it comes time to come home, they get into an akward conversation about coming over to see the puppies again, Takeuchi saying she can come over whenever... but it doesn't mean anything.

[I haven't died. Please excuse the slowness while I catch up]

Nana, still in shock over the events from last episode after 3 days, isn't answering Yano's calls. She can't believe of all people he did it with the other Nana's sister. As normal, Yano discusses things with Takeuchi who suggests he keep on calling. However, Yano really wants to say he's sorry so he shows up at Nana's house. She doesn't want to come out so she tells her mother to say that she's sleeping. However, her mom tells him that she's in the bath, but Yano sees through the facade quickly when he sees Nana looking out of her window. He quickly pulls out a huge bouquet of flowers wrapped in newspaper and gives them to Nana's mother to give to her. When Nana gets them, she feels really low for ignoring him so although she is torn. However, she musters up the courage to chase after him and tell him that she loves him.

The next day, Nana speaks with Takeuchi about things with Yano and how she's not completely done forgiving him. Takeuchi lets her know that she doesn't have to put up with all of this if she doesn't want to which leaves her a little perplexed. Later on, Nana and Yano decide to go to the beach. They end up goofing off while at the beach and caught up in the moment, they kiss. They pull away and look at each other and suddenly, a bug crawls over Nana's hand and she instantly does the girl thing. Yano tries to calm her down, but he immediately flashes back to a similar situation with the other Nana. Nana wonders why Yano got so quiet all of a sudden and then he suggests going home because she doesn't like bugs. Nana realises that Yano thought of the other Nana. Apparently, she's had enough and she asks Yano to say what he would say to her right now if she were in front of him. Yano flashes back to the happier times with the other Nana when they promised to be together with each other. Nana, thinking he's going to blurt out about how much he hated her, is shocked to see him crying saying that he wished she were alive again and that he would forgive her. Nana flashes back to every happy moment with Yano and thinking everything was a lie, she breaks up with him for good and Yano is left heartbroken. After school the next day, Yano runs into Yamamoto and lets her be the first to know that they have broken up figuring she wants to laugh it up since she got what she wanted. Yamamoto offers her "comfort" but Yano, who has learned from his past actions, lets her know that he's not going down that road again.

Yamamoto starts out the episode asking Yano if he knows the reason why the other Nana got in the car with that guy. He obviously doesn't know and Yamamoto begins explaining why and it all revolves around Yano not remembering her birthday. Because her ex remembered her birthday, she got into the car with him. Yano thinks it's silly, but then he begins to take on a more solemn expression when Yamamoto explains that Yano called just a few minutes before Nana died. Suddenly, Nana interrupts them coming out the front door asking why she wants to stir up crap now. Yano tries to get her to go back in, but she refuses. Yamamoto adds flame to the fire saying that there's nothing she should worry about because what they're talking about has nothing to do with her. Immediately, Yano forcefully shoves Nana back in so he can really show some emotion and let Yamamoto know what he really feels and that it wasn't his fault. Then Yamamoto ask what is his fault. He can't say anything and Yamamoto asks if he's forgotten about that day 2 years ago.

A monster appears in Tokyo City so the girls have to get out of class. Out of jealousy, Himeko fakes a silly-named head illness (just like the girls did) and the teacher instructs the girls to take her to the infirmiary. The girls quickly dash and dump her off eager to transform, but Himeko is onto their secret and doesn't let them get alone. Then, she transforms into the monster princess and causes terror by bringing rocks from the moon all the way to the earth. The girls quickly transform and take care of the smaller ones. When all those are taken care of, a giant rock hits Princess and knocks her out. Just in time, the professor and Ken show up to take over taking care of Princess while the girls tend to the monster. However, it's just the fruit shop man from before with a monster hood on and he wants autographs.

Mojo causes trouble in Tokyo City interrupting Momoko's cake time and she reluctantly transforms with the rest of the girls. The girls catch Mojo as he's robbing the cake shops and Blossom quickly makes haste out of him and then proceeds to make waste of the city causing the other girls to have to fight against her. Mojo finally gives up and offers them the stash of cakes he stole, but he quickly locks them in and freezes them threatening to make Powerpuff shaved ice. Back at the lab, Ken and the professor have no idea what to do so Ken suggest something to Peach. Initially, he refuses, but they threaten him and he reluctantly communicates to the girls that Kaoru looks good in a skirt. She angers like the hulk and breaks through the ice and frees the other girls and then pummels Mojo. She's so steamed that she knocks the stash of cakes into the air. They're about to fall to the ground, but thanks to some quick thinking, Bubbles is able to use her bubbles to allow the cakes to float gently to the waiting people below.

Once again, the day is saved thanks to the Powerpuff Girls Z!

Yano's actions stir up feelings of jealousy within Nana when he rips up a picture and they officially have their first argument. To get back at Yano, Nana gives a gift to Takeuchi at his birthday party, but Yano doesn't take it lightly and he takes the almost insignificant gift and throws it out the window which prompts Nana to throw a cup of water in his face and storm out. He chases after her and we find out that he only pretended to throw it out. After the misunderstanding, the two reconcile and Yano gives Nana another chance to give Takeuchi the gift... only if she promises not to do something like that in front of him (he got jealous too ). Even though the two are over their problem, Yamamoto is still upset with Yano and confronts him at his house in front of Nana.

The episode resumes where the former left off: Ritsu discovering Haruhi's secret when he saw her undressed. He exits the room quickly and is scared stiff. Immediately, the host club circles him and he promptly has the crap scared out of him especially by Kyoya who threatens him if he lets the secret loose. Tamaki of course is in a corner lifeless. Haruhi comes out and disrupts the threatening and Ritsu becomes embarrassed remembering that the same Haruhi from before that he had become so fond of was really a girl.

This episode introduces the first original PPGZ villain: Great Michel. Normally, he's a charisma hairstylist. After having unsatisfied customers (even when he thinks his designs are perfect) he retreats to a private area to consult a stuffed bear which speaks morale-boosting mantras for Michel. And then he's struck with a dark beam of chemical Z which allows him to transform upon consulting his bear. With his newfound charisma, he creates the ultimate hairdo (which looks like a Christmas tree) and he becomes the talk of the town. However, he transforms into Great Michel after getting upset and he causes terror giving everything his trademark haircut. However, the girls step in just in time with a batch of Gel Z to put him in his place, but not without re-recording a few mantra for the bear to prevent him transforming again.

Hachi gets to fulfill one of several dreams including enjoying a hotel suite with room service and being with Takumi of Tranest. But it's all too good to be real. Takumi showers her with affection to the point of the two of them having sex even though Hachi knows come morning he'll be gone and she'll be forgotten about. However, he leaves his e-mail address opening up a window of hope for Hachi still in dispair over recently becoming jobless.

[The story is getting so good now In this episode, Nana catches up with modern society and gets a cellphone thanks to Ren and with that, it seems both of the girls are just happily in love.]
