NANA 12
Okay... Right now, I'm about to rant I am getting EXTREMELY PISSED OFF at this show
Just look above. Take a good look at that. THAT is the only thing different about this episode from the rest of the episodes that have aired so far. For the past few eps, they've been taking about 1 manga chapter an ep (they finished manga chapter 8 with episode 11) but the series has just barely started and they can't get past doing flashbacks.
If you wanna know what happens in this ep... Look at summaries of episodes 2-11
And to whomever decided to make NANA full of flashbacks, GET IT STRAIGHT!!!!

Ouran High School Host Club 12
While precious sweet Honey was eating some yummy cake, he suddenly began to have tooth pains. He tried to shake it off but the pain never goes away. Tamaki immediately restricts him from eating cake, but the real shocker to Honey is when Mori restricts his sugar intake. Immediately beginning the next day, Honey is protected from all sorts of sweets. Mori empties out his bag of candies he was just going to "look" at but then suggest he looks at pictures of cake. Then he tries to take being better, but that's foiled quickly by Mori. Some of the customers even want to give him sweets, but Tamaki insists that they don't for his sake. He tries every trick in the book to try to get some sweets, but none of them work and on the third day, he totally loses it.
After coming across a bare candy cabinet (except for Tamaki's Kuma-chan [wait a sec... that's HIS?!!?]) Honey gets upset and passes out. But when Tamaki checks on him, Honey bites him. This upsets Mori and he scolds Honey. He then gets supremely upset throwing Mori and telling him that he hates him before running off. Mori is beyond crushed because Honey really is the most important person in his life and he realises he could have avoided this situation by telling Honey to brush [This is common American knowledge... but I guess not in Japan... ]... Thanks to Tamaki's thinking, he gets Honey to come back and see how sad Mori is and he quickly runs over crying and appologises and their friendship is mended.
The next day, Honey's tooth is okay and he's back to eating cake once again!
There were some side things to this episode that were outside of Honey's toothache problem. There was the twin's spilling tea on Usa-chan and the silly story Mori came up with to keep Honey happy (he said that Usa-chan wanted tea) as well as why you shouldn't wake Honey (a flashback of what I think was a servant of Honey's family trying to wake him up and he says angrily [in English] "I'm.. still.. slee..py!" before ultimate distruction) and Mori turning down a girl's proposal of love and her figuring out who's so important in Mori's life to turn her down. Another filler-ish episode, but it does have some lovely character development with Mori and Honey!

Joshikousei - GIRLS HIGH 12 (End)
And the last episode of Joshikousei is a filler ep. The cultural festival is in full swing and the girls decide to do a maid cafe. However, the class next door has the same idea, but they've one-upped Eriko's class by making it a neko maid cafe. The two classes duke it out one-upping each other until Eriko's class gets the idea to offer sensual massages by the pool in their swimsuits. The idea doesn't seem that great when the only customer is Odagiri-sensei. However, Eriko considers a customer a customer and gives him the full treatment and when other potential customers look in, she turns up the appeal to 11 when she massages oil into his back in quite an interesting way. They instantly become a hit, but then the other girls get tired or decide to do other things until it's just Eriko trying to take care of the customers all by herself. Then Momoka makes an appearance to help out and shows them a quicker way of giving pleasing massages that ends up being a hit.
That's bassically it other than a bonfire scene and the girls embracing their idiocity. The episode ends there... But not without showing the beginning of the next year. The girls all move on to become 2nd year students, and Momoka, even though she didn't want anything to do with her sister in the past, ends up attending Saki Girl's as well.
In the end, it was just a casual show. A little short, a little too fluffy, but still, it provided entertainment and comedy at times with a little drama. I really wanted a little more character development, but I guess that wasn't gonna happen. But unlike some other shows, I'm not wishing for my time back... but I really don't feel the need to watch it again. Maybe if it becomes available stateside, I'll have a renewed appreciation for this always upbeat show.

Anime preview: Bokura ga Ita 僕ç‰ãŒã„ãŸ
It's the begining of Takahashi Nana's (everyone just calls her Nana) first year of high school. All the other girls are buzzing about a classmate named Yano Motoharu. He's handsome, smart, and able to capture the affection of most of the girls; he's completely perfect. However, Nana really can't understand why everyone's so gaga about him, so she really can't stand him. However, that doesn't stay so for long.
Bokura ga Ita is based on the Betsucomi manga series by the same name that's currently at volume 10 (still running). The anime will be directed by Daichi Akitaro who is well-known for directing other popular shoujo series such as Fruits Basket and Kodomo no Omocha.
Bokura ga Ita begins on Wednesday, July 5 at 18:30 JST (4:30 AM CDT) on MX (Earlier broadcast begins on Monday, July 3 at 26:00 JST)

Once again, The Last Two Weeks in Anime
Got tied up again... But since Joshikousei has ended, I might as well get onto these last few episodes.
Joshikousei - GIRL'S HIGH 10
In this ep, we finally get to meet Ayano's family (mother and older sister) and they meet Shimotakatani-kun for the first time (I finally named him... even though he has the longest most absurd name ever) and of course they wring him out trying to find out his true intentions and he manages to get their blessing. Meanwhile, Eriko and the others are waiting for her. After getting through with her family, Ayano and her guy meet up with the others for a meal during which the others drill him. Koda decides to pull Shimotakatani-kun aside and drill him as well to find what he really likes about her and she quickly discovers that he's a meganemoe (in other words, he loves girls in glasses). Ayano changes her look totally (removing her glasses and letting loose her hair) to see if he'd recognize her, but she's saddened 'cos he doesn't. However, he does see a girl that looked very cute, but didn't realise it was Ayano. Ayano's sister steps in and talks to him to see if it's just the glasses he likes, but he reveals it's more than that. Ayano soon comes up to him and removes her glasses and he realises that the girl he saw was Ayano and he realises that he loves the girl behind the glasses. However, the happy moment disappears when Eriko and Yuma appear with marks on their faces that resemble glasses and he is immediately smitten and Ayano gets upset.
Joshikousei - GIRL'S HIGH 11
Eriko recieves an invitation for an elementary school reunion and she gets super-excited about it because she will meet a former male classmate there so she tries a makeover on herself, but she really screws it up. She explains to the others that he was really great and cute and she gave him her Valentine's chocolate, but they ended up going to different junior high schools. Koda decides to help her get prepped for her big day since's she's like Venus, the goddess of beauty, but her nothing but seashells act gets ignored as the others vow to help. The examine her and they see that she's very rough around the edges (and everywhere else) so they need more help than they can show so they get Yuma's little sister to help make her over. The day of the reunion comes and Eriko immediately spots her guy (a good-looking guy with brown hair that goes by Miyazaki-kun was her only requirement), but she realises that she forgot the homemade scarf she was going to give him as a gift. She goes back to look for it and goes through all types of drama that gradually ruins the look she worked so hard for. When she gets back, the guy she was looking for is about to leave and the others can't stall him any longer. She immediately goes up to him to present her gift. However, the hot guy is not the same boy she knew from elementary school, but the friend of the guy she knew from school. He now looks like this weird otaku geek and he's quite happy to see her again and quickly takes her homemade scarf. She's beyond shock as she's stuck with someone she totally didn't expect.

Otoizm
Tired of Tamagotchi? iPod gotten irritating? Ever consider combining the two into one? Well, the fine folks of Konami (in Japan) have come up with the perfect harmony between your MP3 player and the digipet you threw out years ago: Otoizm. I'm assuming its a play on the word organism (oto means sound in Japanese). You hook the little creature into the headphone jack of your MP3 player, plug in your headsets up top and you'll see your little otoism respond to the music you're playing. Also, it has a mic so when you talk to your little otoism, you can get a kotoba (word) ism!!!
It comes in White, Black and Spinel Red. Look for this in Japan or import shops come this September!

Search function added
Since the site has certainly grown, I've finally added a search funtion. There's a few bugs that need to be worked out, but for the most part, you should be able to find what you're looking for, especially if you've come from a search engine and can't quite find what you originally searched for. So now, enjoy

Interesting link - GIRLS LABO
In search for more PPGZ stuff, I cam across this website: GIRLS LABO. It's a CG fanart site for Powerpuff Girls art done by an artist named Yunomi. I strongly suggest checking out the blog on the site. That's where most of the goodies are. Now, if you're a Rowdyruff Boys fan (especially Boomer), you're in luck as that seems like he's the artist's favorite subject and you'll find several beautiful drawings of him.
Heck, all the drawings are beautiful. Especially the stylized Powerpuff Girls pictures. I really really really wanna post a sample of the artist's work... but I don't see any information about posting on other sites... so you'll really have to see for yourself if you're any sort of PPG fan!!!

The face of a criminal? (Or why I'll never get a Sidekick)
Paris Hilton's privacy was breached when people hacked T-Mobile's Sidekick service and was able to get all of the information from her phone from the internet including pictures and phone numbers. However, this wasn't exactly a breach of privacy that happened to this guy's friend. She (Evan's friend) left her Sidekick accidentally in the back of a cab. She did everything she could do under normal circumstances to get it back, but the person who now has possession of it refused to give it back upon initial contact. She got herself a new Sidekick and got her service resumed. That's when she discovered the person's AIM address and that they also took pictures. Drama to the max ensues (including the obligatory MySpace links)!!
If you haven't seen this already, you should check it out. Evan updates as the events unfold so keep watching and hopefully, everything ends up happy.

The Last Two Weeks in ANIME!!!!!
Okay! I think I've gotten back to real life now!
Now here we go!!!! The past two weeks in anime before I get this week's anime!!!!
Joshikousei - GIRL'S HIGH 8
This was a happy flashback episode where the girls look back on their Jr. High lives. Ayano and Eriko were friends back in Jr. High, but surprisingly, she and Yuma didn't get along at first but they quickly became friends after an encounter in a music store. As for Kouda, Ogawa, and Himeji, they had an interesting past, mainly Himeji. She was a major fatso. But thanks to her crush on Odagigi-sensei, she decided to slim down since that's the kind of person he liked (and because of some unexpected people who talked to her in the bathroom stall). But she then discovered that he was only in love with himself.
Joshikousei - GIRL'S HIGH 9
Everyone believes that Kouda is about to die because they overhear her at the hospital talking about her condition among other things. However, she's really auditioning for the part of Akiko in a Socrates in Love (Sekai no ChÅ«shin de, Ai wo Sakebu) clone (in fact, the entire ep is basically a parody of the book) called Sekaijuu de Ai wo Sakebou [世界ä¸ã§æ„›ã‚’å«ã¼ã†] (Screaming Out Love Around the World).

Lyrics - Do Did Done Shu Bi Dan
маT=〃маT=〃ï¼ç¶š(≠маUょï¼
Once again, I present to you more lyrics from GalCir, the second para para song from the series called Do Did Done Shu Bi Dan. Yeah, you guessed it, it makes absolutely no sense. Once again, enjoy!
If you can read the above, you'll surely be able to understand the lyrics of this song All Right All Night. The girls of Angel Heart from GalCir dance to this song on many occasions and it's pretty much the rules for any gal with a bunch of crazy gal speak mixed in. Enjoy!
Starting July 1 at 7:00 JST (5:PM June 30 CDT), the Japanese version of the Powerpuff Girls called Demashitaa! (And they're off!) Powerpuff Girls Z will begin airing on TV-Tokyo in Japan. Now you have essentially the same cast as the American series, but things are a little different.
The story stars 3 girls (all 13 and in Jr High and not sisters or magically created) who become awash with Chemical X and decide to form the Powerpuff Girls to save Tokyo City from monsters.
Blossom is now Akatsutsumi Momoko. She's just like the American Blossom except maybe a little more cutesy. She transforms into Hyper Blossom.
Bubbles is now Goutokuji Miyako and more ditzy than her American counterpart and is obessed with being cute. She transforms into Rolling Bubbles.
Buttercup is now Matsubara Kaoru and is pretty much the same... only cuter of course. She's rough and tough and should appeal just as well to all those people who loved her. She transforms into Powered Buttercup.
Since there are now official websites out there for the show, I've taken the artwork from the sites to make cellphone wallpapers (since the resolution on them isn't all that great. If you have a Nokia 6101/6102/6103 like I do, you'll be able to pop them right in and enjoy. They're up after the cut!
